Representative Danny Nadeau Visits Perpich Center

Perpich Center for Arts Education was pleased to welcome Minnesota Representative Danny Nadeau (34A) to campus on March 17, 2023.

Board Chair, Pasha Khosravi, joined members of Perpich’s leadership team during the visit. The group provided an overview of the agency’s three components: Professional Development and Resources (PDR), Arts High School, and Arts Library. They also discussed the Center’s 2022-2023 Goals and Priorities, Capital Improvement Bonding Requests, and FY 24-25 Budget Requests. Anne Johnson, Admissions Director, led a tour of campus which highlighted students actively engaged in their arts areas.

“I appreciated Rep. Nadeau took time to visit Perpich Center for Arts Education,” said Dr. Charles Rick, Executive Director. “I thought this visit was a good day for Perpich.”

Representative Danny Nadeau (34A) was first elected State Representative in 2022. He represents District 34A in the northwest Twin Cities metropolitan area, which includes the cities of Champlin and Rogers and parts of Hennepin and Wright Counties in Minnesota. Nadeau has lived in Rogers for over two decades. He worked as Hassan Township administrator and served on the park board. In 2008, Nadeau worked at the Minnesota House of Representatives in the House Republican Research department. From 2009 to 2010, he worked as a program manager at the State Energy Office at the Minnesota Department of Commerce. Nadeau worked as assistant to Hennepin County Commissioner Jeff Johnson for 12 years prior to his election to the legislature. Nadeau serves on the Health Finance and Policy and State and Local Government Finance and Policy Committees.
