Summer Music Professional Development Workshops 2024

Thanks to the many music educators who attended our series of Summer Music Professional Development workshops for music teachers the first week of August. The group explored guitar pedagogy, African drumming, Music Literacy, and Orff in the Elementary classroom. Time flies when you’re having fun, and the four-hour sessions flew by! Many thanks to the presenters Jared Waln, Kathy Crockett, Dr. Aaron Lohmeyer, and Jody Petter. The participants earned clock hour certificates and networked with colleagues – old and new.

We have begun planning for next year’s sessions, so please watch for more details in the late spring. If you have ideas for sessions that you would like to see or presenters that you would like us to consider, please share your ideas with michael.buck@pcae.k12.mn.us
