MAPPING YOUR CURRICULUM WITH THE NEW MUSIC BENCHMARKS

This workshop is intended for music educators of students in grades K-12 and is a repeat of the workshop offered earlier this year.
This workshop is part of the Summer Music Standards and Assessment Series. Attend a single day or more than one. Separate registration is necessary for each day you wish to attend.

DESCRIPTION:
With your knowledge of the (new) 2018 Minnesota standards and music benchmarks, we will consider various frameworks to organize them into a personal and usable curriculum plan. Mapping frameworks can be easily revised to fit your district’s requirement.
This seminar may be taken as a stand-alone workshop, or as part of the MUSIC STANDARDS AND ASSESSMENT SERIES June 20-22. Register for each day separately.
There is no cost for this workshop, and 1.5 CEU hour is earned. The seminar is taught by Dr. Wendy Barden, Music Education Specialist in Professional Development & Resource Programs at Perpich Center for Arts Education.
