Distance and E-Learning Tools and Resources for the Arts

Our State Arts Education Specialists have collected and created several resources for Minnesota educators to use for distance and e-learning development. Some lesson ideas do not require internet, or could be adapted. Resources are updated regularly. You are encouraged to check back. Please reach out to any Arts Education Specialist for assistance; contact information is below.

Music

Many, many curriculum resources for your K-12 music classes have been created since March 2020 for distance, hybrid, or in-person learning. Resources are based on the 2018 Arts anchor standards and music benchmarks. You can find all of the resources HERE!

Examples of lessons include:

  • Everything Beethoven!
  • Music of Minnesota American Indian tribes and communities
  • Create (and Connect) lessons
  • Perform (and Connect) lessons
  • Respond (and Connect) lessons
  • Foundations or Combined Standards lessons
